Manipal, 26th February 2025: The ABC Laughter Team Manipal celebrated
the 73rd birthday of Shri Divakar Alva, Retired Deputy General Manager of
Vijaya Bank and a dedicated team member, with great enthusiasm and heartfelt
wishes. The ABC Laughter Team, known for spreading joy and positivity through
laughter yoga, makes it a tradition to celebrate important milestones such as
birthdays, anniversaries, and happy family moments of its members.
A Morning of
Laughter and Warm Wishes
The celebrations commenced during the morning laughter session, where Sri
Alevoor Doddamane Sridhar Shetty, a senior member of the laughter team,
presented a bouquet to Shri Divakar Alva, extending his warm blessings and best
wishes. The gathering was filled with joy as fellow members showed him heartfelt messages.
Adding to the jubilant atmosphere, Rotarian Karunakar Shetty, a senior
member of the Laughter Yoga community, took the lead in initiating a chorus of
the Happy Birthday song, with all members joining in to make the moment special
for the celebrant.

Following the laughter session, the members gathered for a high tea at
Hotel Annapoorna, hosted by Shri Divakar Alva. The atmosphere was lively, as fun
and laughter filled the air. The highlight of the gathering was a joke session
conducted by Shri Lakshman Amin, bringing waves of laughter and further
strengthening the bonds among the members. Shri Ashok Kumar Shetty and RK
filled the air with their own experiences of true life stories.
