On a bright and cheerful morning of 18th April 2023, the members of our Laughing Club gathered together to celebrate the 42nd Marriage Anniversary of D Ramachandra. Shenoy. The ceremony was held at MJC Grounds and was attended by all the members who wished the couple a long and happy married life.
The event began with Major
Radhakrishna proposing a toast to the couple, acknowledging their love and
commitment towards each other. The atmosphere was filled with warmth and
positivity as the members exchanged greetings and good wishes.
Dr. Shenoy then distributed
specially made Laddu, a traditional Indian sweet, with cashews, Elechi, and
camphor oil. This sweet delicacy was savored by everyone, and the taste
lingered on the taste buds, making it a memorable experience.
Our President, Alevoor Sridhar
Shetty, demanded four Laddus, and Dr. Shenoy was generous enough to offer him
the same. This gesture displayed the love and affection that the members had
for one another and their willingness to share and celebrate each other's joys.
Later, D. R. Shenoy arranged a
lavish breakfast at Hotel Anupama, where all the members attended and enjoyed a
delicious breakfast. The aroma of the food was enough to make one's mouth
water, and the spread was grand and elaborate, consisting of a variety of
dishes.
The event was a grand success,
filled with laughter, joy, and camaraderie. It was heartening to see the
members coming together to celebrate such a beautiful occasion, and their love
and affection for one another were palpable. The event was a reminder that amidst
our busy lives, it's important to take time out to celebrate and cherish the
joys of life.
