Several mouth-watering dishes make Aatidonji Dina a memorable day by Rt. Karunakar Shetty

On 30th July 2022, Rotarian Karunakar Shetty, Founder Member of ABC Laughter Team, Manipal hosted Aatidonji Dina Dinner at Prarthana Heritage, Shantinagar, Manipal. All the ABC Laughter Team members participated in the celebration and dinner. However, the programme's highlight was the dinner with mouth-watering dishes of Tulu Nadu. The dishes included urpel aritha ganji, tharayida chatni, pelakkayida gatti, kudutha saru, patrode, uppad, neeru dose, paneer masala, gobi camchuri, chicken chilly, chicken ghee roast, kundapura chicken, dry fish chatny, maruvai sukka, bolanje fry and many other dishes.

Major Radhakrishna thanked the members for actively participating in the dinner. Sri Ashok Kumar Shetty contributed to the dinner logistics, while Sri Rajmohan made local arrangements. The brother of our founder member, Sri Hemanath Hegde, Sri Chittaranjan Hegde, provided the Prarthana Heritage premises freely to organise the dinner.

Laxman Amin returns from Coimbatore with Mysore Pak!

 

Many researchers believe that the body cannot distinguish between fake (simulated) or real (spontaneous) laughter, meaning you can benefit by simply forcing yourself to laugh. But members of our Laughter Team know how to convert fake laughter into real laughter. As we got the information that Laxman Amin is going to Coimbatore, we requested him to bring Mysore Pak from Krishna Sweets, Coimbatore. To fulfill the expectations of our laughing lords, he bought two kg of Mysore Pak from Krishna Sweets, Coimbatore and distributed to all the members. On the same say Harishanna of Shantala Hotel brought Jackfruit and Rajmohan distribuuted homemade Gendadaddye, which were appreciated by all. As the sweets reach Manipal, the sense of humour is indicated in the following whatsup photos.

It was indeed a rare moment, Sri Karunakar Shetty, our senior member brought a Jackfruit to be distributed to the members at the MJC Grounds. Within a minute, the members consumed the tasty jackfruits. During the previous day, our members also brought more than 10 Jack Fruits and distributed them to all the members.
